Expediting Cybersecurity Compliance with Executive Order 14028 and Section 3305 Using SBOMs and Application Risk Management

In-Person Seminar (Northern Virginia) and Webcast

Wednesday, April 19, 2023

2:30 pm EST

Hilton McLean Tysons Corner

7920 Jones Branch Drive

McLean, VA 22102

Ongoing cybersecurity attacks on the U.S. supply chain have led to increased preventive measures and mandates, including Executive Order 14028 and Section 3305 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023. Similar efforts in the EU include NIS2 and DORA.

Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) will play a large role since they provide visibility into open-source and other components and libraries that make up software applications, and which may have vulnerabilities.

This in-person (and webcast) event will provide security leaders and practitioners with information to help you quickly become compliant with these mandates, including:

  • An overview of the recent guidelines and mandates
  • Discussion of SBOMs, their contents, and how they can be utilized to protect your organization's networks
  • A demo of centralized SBOM management and analysis using NIST, Maven and other data to quickly identify component and library-level vulnerabilities and any potentially affected applications (and all installations of those applications)
  • A demo of proactive SBOM process management to accelerate and automate the implementation and maintenance of a highly-effective  program.

In-person seating is limited, so register today. The webcast will be held live simultaneously with the in-person event, and advance registration is required to receive the link prior to the event.

Can't attend at the scheduled time? Register anyway - a recording of the webcast will be available later to view at your convenience.
